booze cruise in St Maartin or Antigua?

Has anyone found a good "booze cruise" in St Maartin or Antigua that is similar to the Kon Tiki in St Thomas or the NOTORIOUS Jolly Roger in Barbados?

Also, am interested in whether it was an excursion though the cruise line or an independent operation.

thanks!

I've done the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St. Martin and it was OK, nothing wild. But, I have done the Jolly Roger in Barbadoes and that was a booze cruise. My friends done the Jolly Roger in Antigua and when we compared notes, they were pretty close.

Jolly Roger has a tendancy to get really wild (some going topless, some naked) nothing would surprise me on that trip. Rum punch is very potent, I watched him make it. 1 bottle of 151 rum and 1 bottle of punch. We were crawling off that boat, some were being carried.

Irish Girl,

When were your friends on the Jolly Roger in Antigua? The last time we were there, the Jolly Roger had been totally destroyed in fire (or something) and had to be replaced. Sad because we had been looking forward to doing it again.

Would LOVE to know if the Jolly Roger in Antigua is "good to go" again! Please tell me it is!

We've been on both Jolly Rogers -- Barbados and Antigua. The AFTERNOON excursion in Antigua is almost as good as the JR in Barbados!

Agree that the Golden Eagle is not the total party found on the Jolly Roger or KonTiki -- but, it's as close as anyone will find in St.Maarten. We did an afternoon excursion on Golden Eagle and it was a real party returning to the ship! Guess, like everthing else, just depends on "what kind of crowd in on the boat"!

It was quite a few years ago that my friends did the Jolly Roger in Antigua. I wasn't aware it had burned up, that's too bad it was a fun ship.

Irish Girl,

Keep hoping to have a business trip to Antigua within the next six months. If so, will certainly check on the JR and report back. Agree, it was so much fun!

Does anyone else had a status report on the Jolly Roger in Antigua??????

Here is the repsonse from the tour operator when I inquired about the JR in Antigua.

Dear Renee,

Thanks for your interest in the Jolly Roger.

I am sorry to inform you that the Jolly Roger in Antigua was wrecked in a storm and is no longer operational.

Our company those have other tours, including catamarans that we will be offering as excursions on Carnival. Please feel free to book when you get onboard.
