We brought a case of beer that was packed in our luggage. It was Coors Light in the plastic bottles so we didn't have to worry about them breaking. It was no problem at all. We brought along a soft-sided cooler and our cabin steward keep it filled with ice all week.Also, you can buy most hard liquor in plastic bottles now so that's not a problem either.
