Boston to Bermuda in July

We are planning a family trip the beginning of July and thought the Boston to Bermuda trip on the Magesty would be great because we could drive to Boston. We have 3 children over 21 whom we are taking on what may be our last family vacation before they scatter for jobs, etc. Starting to have second thoughts about the ship and the port. We would greatly appreciate feedback from anyone who has recently returned from this trip. The Boston to Bermuda trip stops only in St. George's whereas the New York to Bermuda trip (which a travel agent preferred)also stops in King's Wharf and Hamilton. The travel agent told us that the better beaches are not in St. George. Also, have read numerous negative reviews about the Magesty.
Also, would like to know if 20-somethings would be out of place on this trip. We have cruised before when they were younger on Carnival and even then, there were not many teenagers and young adults. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have sailed out of Boston's Black Falcone twice. Drove once took a train the other time. No hassel either time. Will be sailing out of there again this June. I will drive up. Parking cost is very reasonable compared to other places. One of the sailing, back in 2000 was the Majesty. The fact the ship stays in St George is no big deal. None of the top beaches are close to Hamilton either. You will need to take a bus or cab from either place and the distance is simular. There are water taxis and cabs to get to Hamilton from St George. Kings Warf is in the middle of no where, you are realy stuck out there. St George offers a lot to do in the evenings. As for the ship, she was fine back in 00, I can not speak for her current condition. Our oldest was 18 when we went and her hooked uo with a young adult crowd and did fine.

We are about to do this trip from Boston for the TENTH time.. St. George is a charmling little village and not to be missed.. There is now a high speed ferry that will take you to Hamilton and I believe the ferry also goes to the Dockyard. There is the popular Tobacco Cay in St. George and a little bus that wiltake you to St. Catherines.. If you want more info please write..

We'll be on this cruise July 18th. The both of us. Our son and a friend will also be going. They're 28 and 21. Been on this cruise three times. Although there are a lot of grown ups, there are also young adults, teens and children. Not a bad mix. But then again we never gave it much thought. The island is not that big that you would need to dock in three different places. It's barely 20 miles from one end to the other. Being docked in one place Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is like having your own hotel on the waterfront. You come and go as you please. We usually buy the bus passes and head out to different parts of the island each day. Just been our experience. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask! It's been our favorite island to go to!
