When we went to Belize they said not to worry about Botfly's on the river tubing. But there was a lot of noseeums(SP)They are bugs that bite and you don't even know they are there. Just make sure you use something that is water proof. Your legs and arms are sticking out the most but then you are constantly moving your arms but your legs kind of just hang on the tube. I used something called frogger with suncreen. No bites until we went to Roatan!!!
