I always take my own bottled water and soda on board - no sneaking or smuggling. I usually pack it in a tote bag to carry on -- that way the tote bag will be emptied and I can bring home my souvenirs and purchases back in it. On one cruise, we even used a small piece of luggage with wheels and it was full of soda and water. I choose the six packs of soda in bottles so I can screw the top back on and throw it in my beach bag when I head out to the pool. This was on the Triumph last December and there were no questions asked. As a matter of fact, two of my water bottles were filled with vodka - no problem. You should have no problem taking your own water and soda - I didn't. Go for it and have a great time!50 days - Star Princess (Alaska Inside Passage) :dance
