I've found info on the soda package (abt $6.50/day) and on the wine packages...can anyone tell me about the bottled water package? Didn't I read that on the website but I can't see anything on the costs...Thanks!

Ahoy Matey and welcome to Cruise @ddicts. :spyglass:

I know Celebrity started a bottled water program but wasn't aware Royal Caribbean was doing it too. Here's the description of the Celebrity package.

Unlimited Bottled Water Package...starting from $13.50* per night
Refresh your thirst from our selection of both still and sparkling bottled water, including Evian® and Pelligrino.

I am soooo not paying $13.50 a day for water (and I like Pelligrino).

Two suggestions. Bring a sports bottle and fill it up at the buffet area or your cabins steward will make sure you have a pitcher of ice water in your cabin. Or, bring a six pack or so on board with you. When you are in port you can buy more for a lot less than you'd pay on the ship. We have employed both methods and have never gone thirsty. :)

The tap water on the ship is as pure (if not MORE SO) than anything ashore or in bottles. And, at $o.oo per refil. it's a heck of a lot les expensive ....

Boy, sometimes I wish I had come up with the idea of bottling water ...... !

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe a market for canned air ???? Bet some fool would buy it!

Very true about the tap water.

Canned air... Sorry Calgon, somebody already thought of it. I have one right here. I use it to keep the dust out of my keyboard.

All these folks have such good memories, I bought a dozen bottles on my last RCI cruise for about $24, cut the cost down by a 1/3. When you get on the ship they will have a table set up in the Centrum, selling bottled water packages, you sign the ticket and they deliver it to your room. Not a per day charge, but a reduced price for a number of bottles, we shared it between 4 of us. Just clean out the fridge, put their stuff on the top shelf in plain view so you won't be charged, and fill the fridge with your water. There are times that tastes as good as my wine. Most times I just have both.

Their website says that you are allowed to bring 'a small amount' of soft drinks or bottled water on board...I hope a case of Coke Zero and A case of DIet DR. Pepper is considered a small amount for two people for 6 days??? I've heard that the ships will allow this just slap a luggage tag on it and put with checked baggage??? Especially if it is a product they do not offer...like my faves above...I hope they are right...as I will be doing this come October.
