Hi everyone, can I bring a couple bottles of Zinfandel on board?
I am not that impressed with thier wine list. Is there a corkage?

Thank you for the help.

check the RCI FAQ on their website. I'm pretty sure you can't take alcohol anymore or there's a very strict limit. I don't drink. If you want your own bottle opened in the dining room, there is a corkage.

You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol on board. But I went on www.rumrunnerflasks.com and bought what they call a cruise kit they are plastic flasks that you can fill with alcohol and you can fit a big bottle of wine or rum, or whatever you want to take with you. I then put it in a big zip lock storage bag wrap it up in a towel in my suit case its not detectable like the bottles of booze. So they won't remove it. If you get caught with bottles of alcohol they will take it out and keep it until the end of the cruise. This works great.

We have brought bottles of wine everytime we cruised on RCL. Our waiters even told us to drop them off to him so he could chill them and he would serve them at diner. There was no corkage fee.

The rumrunner sounds like brilliant plan. I live in UK but it seems that they ship here so I think I'm going to get myself equipped for our upcoming holiday - thanks for the advice!
