My wife and I are evaluating two British Isles Crown Princess Cruises for 2012. Our AAA travel agent Tonda (great Gal !!) advises we go in summer (June-July -August). Available cruise iteneraries (2) both include London (Southampton), Paris/Normandy, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast,Dublin, and Guernsey. The difference is that one cruise also includes Kirkwall and Holyhead, the other includes Liverpool and Cobh. Having been on port intensive cruises before (like Emerald Princess Med Explorer in 2007)we know the drill, but neither of us has done Northern Europe/England, so we need some help from those of you who have actually taken these cruises. What we are looking for is a way to compare Kirkwall/Holyhead with Cobh/Liverpool. Any help would be really appreciated.
