We had a butler with Princess and believe me, you aren't missing much. We were really disappointed with his service & attitude. Thankfully, another butler helped us out. The following year, we were on the very first Grand Princess cruise AFTER they had cancelled the butler service. We were hoping to have a better experience with a different butler. It turned out that our cabin steward did everything we wanted him to do and really went all out for us. We didn't miss having a butler at all.I think a lot of the cruise lines are cutting back on these little perks.
