C&A sent me wrong card!

I got a new Crown and Anchor card in the mail about 6 weeks ago and it was a GOLD card. I'm Platinum. So I called and they said they have me in the computer as Platinum. (So why send me Gold?). I was supposed to get a new card in 2 weeks and now it's going on 6...

I hope they straighten it out before I get on board!


66 more days for Bahamas and 81 for Bermuda! woo hoo!!!!

The card is meaningless.What's in the computer is all that counts. Go onto the website, enter your number and verify it shows Platinum.

You got a card? :S I've never received a card - of any color. I'll be getting my 8th cruise credit in a few weeks.

Are we talking about CREDIT CARDS (the cruiseships are now offering their own) or MEMBERSHIP LEVEL????

I was under the impression that cards with the level on them were only being sent to Diamond Plus. In any event, the answers on here are correct, you only need the number to register as a C&A member when booking, the computer tracks your staus. I've never had an occasion to use my card......I've never had to show it to anyone......

Platinum should be designated on your documents when you receive them.

I got my card a few months ago too for my Gold status, no use for it though other than to impress people.

The OP said it was a C&A card and that the OP received a gold card and is currently platinum. The OP also said that the computer shows the OP as platinum. That does not sound like a credit card to me. I am a C&A member, have been for five years, and I have NEVER received any C&A cards - of any color.

The topic at hand here is Crown and Anchor membership cards NOT CREDIT CARDS. Cruizer, I'm not sure why you haven't received one yet, they are worthless but if you really want one you can call up C&A and they would be more than happy to print one up and mail it to you.

As long as they have me in the computer as Platinum I guess that is all that matters then! I just want my robe, coupons and priority departure! ;)

What would I do with it? =huh I don't have one from Carnival (five cruises) or Norwegian (two cruises) either. :X

That's what I'm trying to tell you! They are useless so you should probably be happy they have never issued you a card, just another piece of plastic to lose somewhere.

How can I lose something I never had? Besides, it should be my choice to lose it, not Royal Caribbean's.
