We are releasing this cruise info for Booking 12 months in advance will also be an aide for those that wish to make monthly or quarterly deposits in an effort to make the payments more reasonable. :boogie:
As always in Booking for C@ Groups just make sure U put 2011 C@ Grand Princess Spring Cruise in the Subject Line if U are emailing Skyscraper Tours at info@skyscrapertours.com. If U are phoning them at 1-877-442-5659 just make sure the staff knows that U wish to be a part of the C@ Booking for this cruise. :spyglass:
We know that this cruise is LONGER in Length than many of U are used to or might be even capable of doing BUT in an effort to get back onboard Princess like MANY of U had wished and still offer a different venue this was the BEST choice IMO.
We have done the Emerald Class (Ruby, Crown) twice in the past 4 years and while any cruise is still good we thought a return to older Grand Class ships was worth the risk of the longer venue. To say that we prefer the pool layout of the older Grand Class over the NEWER Princess ships would most likely be correct.
The Adult Only Aft Terrace Pool and the Neptune's Reef (Solarium Pool) on the Older Grand Class ships of Princess IMO is FAR superior a layout to the NEWER Princess ships pool layout. Then of course that is just my opinion and we ALL have them and of course there will be another day when we set sail on the NEWER Princess ships but NOT before 2011.
We also looked at the possibility of putting a Back 2 Back together thru Princess. The ONLY problem with this option was that it would require disembarking after 7 Days and spending another night in a hotel . This would of added additional cost to the cruise with hotel and food costs. It would also have been detrimental to those using Ghost Bookings as the amount of shipboard credit would of been reduced.
The Back 2 Back option also would limit the access of islands to just those are general found on the typical Eastern & Western itineraries and would eliminate access to those Gems of S. Caribbean that MANY of US dream about visiting.

The pricing for this is reasonbly priced IMO with rates at $100 pp per day for an inside and $150 pp per day for a Balcony. And the Good news with Princess is that they do tend to drop their pricing prior to FINAL payment so that ALL bookings can take advantage of the rate reductions. While I do NOT have a Crystal Ball I would suspect that there would be some rate reductions with the length of cruise some time in the next 12 months.
We hope that some of U can join US on this 14 Nighter as we Circle the S. Caribbean on the Grand Princess and for those that can NOT there will be another ship at another time and place in the future hopefully.
Below are the specifics for the 14 Night Grand Princess Circle the Southern Caribbean Cruise that begins on 2/28/2011. We hope to see MANY C@'s onboard getting rid of those Winter Blues as we let the warm Caribbean Breezes rejuvenate of minds and bodies.
