Correct! - $18 flat rate...plus tip.

This fixed rate is posted on the rear side window of every cab.

How long does the cab ride take ??? and then how about parking at the airport or airport hotels .

my daughter is sailing on Dec 15 and trying to find her the best place to stay . I have heard parking is outrageous at the Port .. hotels

Sorry I can't help you on the parking rates there Sara Lee, I never drove to Miami.
If you do a browser search for "Miami airport parking rates", you'll probably find some info. Same with hotels that offer free parking. There are several. Best Western /Airport, StudioPlus/Airport, Summerfield Suites/ Airport - to name a couple.
