You are not likely to hear anyone running by (though the people in the ocean view cabin across from you might). 1001 has a picture window with a public deck just outside the window, which means you are going to have a few curious people looking in the window (you will have drapes). Directly over 1001 is the gym that is part of the spa. This could get noisy also. Also, 2317 sleeps four while 1001 only sleeps three.
