I will be cruising August 27 to Bermuda on Carnival Pride, and I will be sharing a cabin with other family members. Is it possible to have my own account for drinks and purchases? It would be a lot simpler to do it this way.

thank you.

Definitely! You will receive a form to fill out along with your cruise documents. This form authorizes Carnival to charge your credit card for on board purchases and identifies those who are authorized to charge on your account. Simply fill in your name only, sign it, and turn it in at check in and you are good to go.

Cruzman is right. When you fill out your paper work you specify who is can charge on your account and if you are the only name you will be the only one billed. You should still check your account during the week because the cruise lines have been known to make mistakes.

And if the other person needs paperwork to get their own sign & sail card, they can get it at check in.

Each person in the cabin is set-up with a Sign & Sail account, the card is also your room key. You can specify a credit card to be charged in conjunction with the Sign & Sail card or leave a cash deposit. With cash, when your deposit balance gets low the purser will leave a note under your door to let you know.
