Cabin beds

We are scheduled on the Carnival Spirit in August. I noticed when I go to sites that show descriptions of the cabins and decks that for each category of rooms some have 2 dots on them and the description states these rooms have 2 upper beds. But then when I click on a 'view' of the room it always shows '2 twin beds converted to king'. But that appears for every room no matter if there are no dots, one dot, or two dots. Can someone explain this to me? As you can tell this is my first cruise and I do not want to be "climbing" up into any bed. :) I know I can call Carnival and they will answer my question (at least I assume they will), but thought someone here would know the answer.
Thanks
Ellie

How many are traveling in your room?

If only two, you will NOT be climbing up into your bed. I believe EVERY room has two beds on the floor.

There are just 2 of us. I just couldn't understand why the difference in descriptions. But I am going to assume that the beds are on on the floor.
Thanks for responding.

Check the small print, but I think you will find that the dots signify that particular room has upper berths for a 3rd or 4th passenger.

I think you are right. I really never thought of that. Someone on another board said the same thing, that they are for extra people in the room (children) and fold into the wall so you never even see them if you don't need them.
Thanks again. That makes sense now that I think about it.
