Cabin categories?

I booked a guarenteed balcony on the Victory and just saw that they assigned me a cabin today. I was given #1006 on Panorama Deck 10. It is the last cabin on that side before what I believe is the suites. Can anyone tell me if this is a good cabin? Not that I can change it, but just curious as I am a worrier about everything (even vacation).

Well, I would not call it the last cabin. You are in the forward most balcony cabin on the port (left) side of deck 10. I below you are other cabins. Above you is the gym. Some people don't like front because it can pitch up and down more than mid ship.

Here is a picture of your balcony ...

To see the layout, you can go to www.cruisedeckplans.com. Click on the public site, Carnival, then choose the Victory and you can see the deck plans. Have a great cruise! LOVE the colors of the Victory, esp. the atrium.

Looks like a winner to me.

Just an FYI for anyone booking a guarantee. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. One of the trade offs on the lower price of booking a guarantee is that Carnival picks the cabin and what they assign is final. They will absolutely not change the cabin after it is assigned.

I would assume that there are chocolates in the box of chocolates. What else are you expecting to find?
