Cabin Choice on Explorer

We have to make a decision by Friday on the cruise - one cabin currently being held. Our options are 6352, 6354, 6654, 6656, 7356, and 9658. They are all in the same part of the ship but the deck plans just show an open white area outside the rooms. Does anyone know what's in that area? Or any advice on these rooms in general? We're guessing the higher the better. :S

Thanks!

Alright well to begin with the white area can usually be a few different things, emergency stair wells, crew elevators, room steward closets, or just piping that takes smoke up and out of the funnel. If I were you I would call your travel agent immediately and take room 9658. All the rooms listed are towards the rear of the ship. Deck 9 is more favorable to Deck 6 because it is sandwiched by other cabins and is less susceptible to noise. In addition if you look closely at the map 9658 is slightly bigger than the other D1 cabins next to it. This could be a miss print or it could be Royal Caribbeans way of filling in some extra square footage without charging you any extra for a bigger room.

How interesting - I see what you mean. On all lower decks there seems to be a tiny gap between 9658 and 9660; it's not there on decks 9 and 10. But as you note it may just be a glitch. I do believe our TA is holding that room so yay if it's bigger.
