Wondering what the size difference is of the normal balcony room on the side of the ship and an extended balcony at aft end (NOT a corner room)? Also - do you think it's worth the extra money to upgrade to the larger balcony? And are there bad noises aft?

thanks

We had an aft balcony on the Pride last year and experienced no vibration at all. The balcony was very nice but is probably no more than 20 sq ft larger than the regular cat. 8 balconies.

NV 555 Cat. 4A in an inside cabin on the Rivera deck.
When I went on the Spirit Dec.2001, I had an inside cabin but I was upgraded from the 4A to 4b inside which was on the main deck. I was with a singlesgroup and had my own cabin.
It had a refrigerator and was 185 sq.ft. which is an nice size cabin...The older Carnival ships rooms were 175 sq ft.
I am going on the Spirit again in 56 days and when I booked my cruise I originally booked at a 1A rate. I have been upgraded to a 5A obstructed view(picked our own cabins, we were on Legend with obstructed view and knew which one were the ones with a part.view) at the rate of a 1A.......less any discounts I had. All for less that 499. pp everything included. And this during the xmas holidays, cannot beat that price.
When are you planning to go

we had an aft cabin on the pride just 2 weeks ago, it was not that big at all enough for 2 chairs and a small table, maybe 6 ft long and 8 ft wide we still loved it, not too much movement and close enough to stairs and the elevators you will have a good time no matter what!!!
have fun jo
