Cabin noise

Booked cabin 8237 on Century and, while not terribly concerned about vibration in aft cabins on Century-class ships as reported by some passengers, I am somewhat concerned about late night noise/reverberation from the nightclub below. Comments?

We were in the aft cabins two weeks ago. We were a group of eight family members occupying four of the aft cabins. My two daughters were in #8231 and 8233 while we were at the other end in 8222. They mentioned that on two or three of the evenings they could hear noise from the Crystal room below but it usually ended by midnight. Nothing major and didn't interfere with trying to sleep if they wanted. In any event it is a small price to pay for being in one of these cabins. They are wonderful, quite large (210 sq. ft.) and have plenty of closet space. In addition the small deck just outside is never used and becomes a nice balcony for you. Stairs from here go straight up to the buffet area. Enjoy.

Thanks for the info. Re the small deck outside the aft cabins, do the windows of those cabins look onto that deck and limit privacy if the curtains are open? Or, is there no deck outside those cabins? Also, my TA is going to try to move us to a family cabin one deck higher. Do you remember if those cabins overlook an open deck? Thanks!

There is no deck outside these cabins(unlike the Mercury that does). The window is a large picture window and looks directly out at the wake. It has a three foot sill that you can sit up on to be closer to the window. The deck is on the side and you cannot see into the cabins. The edge of the railing is even with the cabin windows but I tried leaning over to see if I could see into my cabin but I couldn't. The cabins on the deck above are identical to those on deck eight. The only difference is that they might be quieter.
