I sailed on Fantasy in Sept.2002 with my sister and a friend. Had a Cat. 12.(Don't forget to ask for the "Skipper's Club" at the port) The room was a good size-fridge,VCR,bathtub,nice balcony. However if your close to six foot I don't know how anyone could stand in the tub for a shower,it seemed like I had about 6 inches of head room and I'm only 5 ft. tall.I have to admit that the ship is thread-worn,and the decor is outdated. The most troubling was the public restrooms, they always seemed dirty and old. We didn't have any problem with drunks or unrully kids(although I don't think many were on board because of school). If you are looking for fancy, new, and as you say "Uppity" -this ship is not for you-HOWEVER- if you are looking for a good time, good service, good food, and good shows you will have a blast. And if 15 of your group never been on a ship they will have nothing to compare it to.That was my problem,I was comparing it to my previous cruise on a brand new ship (Explorer),my sister, who had nevered cruised, had a fabulous time and so did I when I stopped comparing the things that really don't matter like gaudy decor.Don't sweat the small stuff-the important things are service, food, entertainment -which were excellent. Have a great time. I'm sailing on Pride in March-can't wait!!
