Cabins on Victory's Spa Deck, are they bigger?

Just booked NYC to Halifax on the Victory, got a great upgrade for myself.
I have a friend who is interested in the rooms on the Spa Deck. She has a family of 5 & they are supposed to be family suites on that floor? Has anybody ever had one of these cabins? If so are they bigger, more beds? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I just checked my Carnival brochure. As far as I can tell, all of the cabins on the Spa deck of the Victory are 6E cabins. These are oceanview cabins that sleep four. Two lower beds, a single convertable sofa and an upper (a bed that comes out of the ceiling). If you are going to sleep five in one of these cabins, you will need a roll-a-way bed. Otherwise the cabins are standard sized (185 sq ft) and only one bathroom (but a short walk to the bathrooms and showers in the spa). There are also connecting cabins, which means double the room and two bathrooms.

actually on carnival the decks on the spa deck are family staterooms, this means that they sleep four and that the space that would be a balcony is incorperated into the room and there is a floor to ceiling window. I recently stayed in a family stateroom on the Carnival Glory and it was an amazing stateroom and was definetly larger than the travel companions of ours that had an ocean view.

I hope i helped you

Okay, that makes sense. In that case the cabins are 220 sq. ft.

Thanks, that extra room from the balcony would add a bit more space & that might work good for a family of 4. I only have DH & DS & in our cabin & 3 sometimes pushes the limit for me in the cabin. But to save the cost of putting the 2 teens across the hall in an inside room it might just work for my friend with 2 kids. Its only a 4 day cruise so I think this could work nicely. Thanks again for all your help.

the windows are tilted in the cabin so that space is kind of wasted- you wont be able to stand at the window but the seats at the table are awesome.

These cat 6E most times sell for more then a basic balcony cabin.
