Cabins with Connecting Door

Any feedback on cabins with connecting doors? Adequately soundproofed?

Also, due to limited availability, I was assigned an INSIDE handicapped room. Any experience with this kind of room? It appears to be larger. VISTA deck #7048

Thanks for any info.

We were on the summit and Millinnium this past year and both of our cabins had connecting doors and we nevr heard any noise from the connecting cabin.

Sorry we have never been in either an inside cabin or a handicap cabin. I did turn one down one time because when I had a handicap room in hotel it reminded me of a hospital room .

Same experience with conecting as BP. Never have stayed in Special needs room but have had a look at them on all our cruises. It will be fine. Enjoy the extra rooom.!!!!! Inside is just dark all the time. Take a clock with lighted face.

I had a connecting door on the Century and we didn't hear a peep. Forgot it was even there.

Most likely the door will be soundproofed as well if NOT better than the walls. The additional cabin space in the handicap room will be a bonus. Enjoy!!!
