Did you check the carnival website? If I recall correctly, Camp Carnival has different areas and activities for 3-5 years olds, 6-8, and 9-11. How old is your child?
We just got back from our 7 day cruise on the Inspiration. It was great. My daughter is 12 and she really loved the teen program they had. They have a program from 12-15 years old and she was hardly ever with us on the ship...She was with all her new friends and the counselor they had. I don't know what age you are wondering about but Carnival has excellant programs with plenty of things to do.
