Can I fill out embarkation papers online w/ccl

Do I have to fill papers out at the port for embarkation? I've been on ccl 2 other times but cannot remember if I had to fill them out. My mother just went on rccl and she said they got right on the ship because they had filled them out online before going!! Just want to find out the easiest way to get on board with no delay. Thanks for any info.

Carnival does not have the on-line registration at this time like RCI. When you receive you documents just fill them out and have them ready to go once you arrive at the port. It is quick and simple. I did not find the on-line registration that much quicker in boarding.

Also might be worth a call or a check with your TA, some lines now are wanting them or a copy of them sent in ahead of time. But there doesn't seem to be a set standard of any kind.

We filled out the online forms before our October RCI cruise, and I really don't think it made any difference in how fast we got on the ship. We had to stand in line like everyone else and were only on the ship early because we got to the port early.
