I noticed the topic on pre-booked spa appointments...can we pre-book salon appointments too, or do we just need to hustle up to the salon as soon as we're aboard? ***3 days to cruise-time!***

you don't say which ship you're booked on. you CAN prebook spa and salon appointments thru the cruise personalizer @ princess.com if you are booked on the Caribbean Princess or (I think) Sapphire Princess, but those are the only 2 ships with spas which are run by Princess and not by Steiner. Hope this helps.

You can only prebook spa appointments on the Caribbean and Sapphire. On all the other Princess ships you have to go to the spa to make your appointments.

The Coral is not run by Steiner either. I know, we had a TERRIBLE experience with their salon & the salon manager was the WORST businessperson we've ever dealt with in our lives.
Just be prepared to wait if you're lucky enough for them to take your appointment. I can't tell you how many times they've cancelled appts. on me as I'm walking out the door to get my hair done for dinner. The last time, I waited at the salon with wet hair for 1/2 hr. just to have them tell me that the person before me "needed more work" and they couldn't do my hair tonight. I was supposed to go to dinner with wet hair? I'll never book onboard again because of that one.
The salons on the ships aren't what they're cracked up to be.
