CAn you upgrade your room after you've booked?

I booked my cruise on the Dream for July 2012 and I bought the interior room with a view off the front of the ship. This is for my 10 year wedding anniversary and I thought as a suprise to my husband I would upgrade to a balcony room. I didn't see anywhere on the carnival website to make that change or see how much more it would cost me. Any ideas or if this is possible?

HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! I have upgraded a few times in the past, you can call your TA
they can do the up grade for you . if the price is right

Of course you can. However, you can't do it online. If you have a travel agent call him/her. If you booked directly with Carnival call your PVP.

I just got an email from Carnival saying something about new lower rates, and while my rate didn't go down, I was able to upgrade to a balcony room from an interior for very little money
