In Nassau: Once off the pier, go to the taxi stand and take a taxi (Van) to the Raddisson Cable Beach where you can spend the whole day using their beach, pool swim up bar etc...In St Thomas: Use internet and find "Godfrey Tours" you can hire your own van/driver for the day. Go to Megan's Bay and Coki (sp?) Beach to swim and snorkel. Take dog biscuits with you when you snorkel. The fish will swarm you! Also ask to be taken to the local flea market for shopping. I believe table mountain building is gone due to a fire.St Martin: Walk from the ship to the crescent shaped beach right in front of the main downtown shops (great shopping) find some unbrellas on the beach in front of a restaurant/bar. Do not get suckered into paying more than $5 for an umbrella and 4 chairs. Just agree to order your lunch and buckets of beers and frozen thingees from their bar/restaurant and they will serve you like kings and queens all day long for very reasonable price.Do NOT NOT NOT allow anyone to braid any of the kid's hair on St Martin unless you agree on the number of braids and the total cost. Then, stand with the child and wait until finished. If you leave for a short time while your daughter's hair get's braided, they will quickly call all their friends over and begin braiding like crazy !!! You get back, and they will claim you owe them hundreds of dollars for all the braids and call the police if you try to stiff them. My sister had to pay $175 for her daughter's braids ! She claims she just went into the store next to the braider for 5 minutes and there were 6 women braiding her daughter's hair when she came out. She thought she would only get about 5 braids for about $10 but ended up with 75-100 braids !Boat boy
