We took a tour from Capt Marvins - Stingray City...... Just want to let everyone know that they are great. There were 9 total on our excursion. My little timid 5 yr old was in love with those "raisins" by the time the tour was over.

Glad to hear that you had a good time and that your daughter enjoyed herself too!

Really, really big raisins. Like huge, irradiated, Miracle-Gro raisins. With tails.

Makes sense to me!

Well, when I was planning this trip I decided "stingrays" sounded a little scary to an already timid little one ---- so I shortened it to "rays." She thought I said "raisins" and a new nickname was born. They will always be raisins in our house. LOL

OMG...that is so cute!!! Raisins instead of rays...kids say the darnest things.

Now off topic:
The other day my daughter said to me "hey Mom we learned about poverty in school today!" and I said to her "Oh you did-what did you learn?" and she said "we learned that our breasts grow and....." I almost wrecked my car! LOL....She meant to say PUBERTY....not poverty. Once she realized she said it wrong she started laughing too.
It was one of those moments! LOL
