Can all you "pros" tell what to see and do on my port stops. Aruba,Curacao, Triidad,Barbados,st. kits, st thomas, Santo Domingo and grand turk. 1st time to most of the ports. How about shopping??

Thanks for the website about the caribbean. Have you been to any of the Islands that I'm going on this cruise? First hand stuff any thing that stands out on any the Islands? A must see or must do on any Island? Thanks in Advance!

We've been to all except St. Vincent, Grand Turk and Santo Domingo. I think we'll just catch the bus in Aurba and go to the Holiday Inn resort (nice beach) and in Curacao we'll also find a beach and then walk around the port which is easy and nice. It St. Kitts I'd love to get over to Nevis. It's a beautiful island from what our daughter hs told us. Grand Turk will be a beach stop. Barbadoes is another bweach stop as there's not much to see "in town." It is a pretty island though and you'd probably love taking a scenic tour. Great beaches and friendly to all if you just want to find a taxi. St. Thomas is nice too. the shopping isn't what is was at one time. I'd take a tour or take a shuttle to Magen's Bay or Sapphire Beach (gorgeous) We've been to Trinidad and Tobago once a while ago and got warnings of theft and muggings in Trinidad so didn't even get off the ship. Another beach spot for us, I think. Santa Domingo is kind of iffy right now what with all the action from the relief ships (Haiti) so it's very possible we'll go to San Juan, which is a great walking city. Lot's of things to see. I hope this is a little help to you.
