I'm planning on booking a Caribbean cruise out of New York in June. I have heard that the Atlantic can be a bit rough. Is this true? If so, how much rougher? I do tend to get a little queasy and, of course, the travel agent said it's not too bad.

We went very end of May on the Crown, no problems at all, it helps when ship is 110,00 tons, got sick once 25 years ago on a 22,000 ton ship .

Can vary greatly from perfectly calm to a wild ride -- as it's completely dependent on wind, weather, and sea conditions at the specific time you sail. Only the North Atlantic is notoriously rough -- and even that can be smooth sometimes. Eat ginger snaps (before you get seasick) if you are prone to sea sickness.
