I will be on her October 21. I will be looking forward to your review! Have a wonderful cruise. if it is any comfort I did a ton of research for months before I chose to cruise on the Caribbean Princess and that ship seemed to offer the best for our needs.

Hey, how bad can any cruise be????

Well. now you're talkin!! We have been on the Island, Dawn & Sun on the Princess line. Once on Celebrity. No complaints! We are booked on Tahitian Princess in Feb o7 and Oceania Insignia in Nov. 2007. I understand that these are "sister" ships; being the same size etc. Any comments are welcome!\

I sailed this ship last summer. We had a lovely time. If you have anytime dining make a reservation as soon as possible. We had issues with the lines on this ship.

We're sailing 12/3/06. At this point, we're on the short waitlist for second seating dining and expect to get assigned. If not, please advise what "as soon as possible" means for reservations. Early seating is way too early for us, and just a little earlier than late seating is perfect.

I think this means as soon as you get on board. Talk to the front desk and they should be able to tell where to go & whom to talk to. Also, Princess.com or the phone #1-800-princess is a great resource. Good luck & have fun.

we did personal choice dinning-we usally went around 6 pm to the Palms dinningroom deck 6 aft. One night we did dine around 7-I think that night we wiated maybe 5 minutes at the most-the other nights we walked right in.

Now the Coral is deck 6 midship and close to the centrum-that dinning room is the one most go to-and I heard you did have to wait there-I did not mind leaving the centrum area and walking to the aft for dinner.

so if you eat at the Palms and not the Coral-you do NOT need reservations.

I was on the Caribbean Princess in early Oct. and we had anytime dining. We went at all different times and never had to wait.

My husband and I are going on this ship next Sunday December 10th for 7 days. This is our first cruise. I have never been on a big ship before so this is all new to us. I am nervous but yet excited. Any suggestions about this ship?

Wow, I am excited for you. It is big but you can figure out where things are fairly quickly. I really loved the Movies under the stars. We ate at the steak house and it was really good. Truthly, I never felt that crowded anywhere or anytime on the ship.

We had anytime dining and never had to wait. We ate at the restaurant and the buffet equally. The pizza is hand made and is really good. It is really true that you can eat 24 hrs a day on the Caribbean Princess.

Have a great time!

We will be on the Caribbean Princess Feb 3,2007. I'm looking forward to sailing on this ship.

Question? Do we turn the Bahamas form in at embaration or when we get to Princess Cays?

At embarkation for us because it was the first stop (we did western route) for us. Don't know when if it is for the eastern route.

Thanks ewheelock, I was just curious.
We are going on the eastern route. On one of our cruises we turned the form in at embarkation, another cruise it was when we arrived in the Bahamas.

I know that you will enjoy your cruise. I would sail in the Caribbean Princess again in a heart beat.

So anyone wanna tell me how that cabin was?
I was in C753 on the Crown last year and it was fantastic. Only problem was the vibration when the ship docked, but never did really bother me.
I know that C752 and C753 or identical so I'm really looking forward to being back in my wonderful aft cabin on the Caribe deck again.
