Hi. We have been on the Grand Caribe Deck, but not those particular cabins - we prefer the back end of the ship. The balcony is big, maybe 9x9 or so. Partially exposed, but in your location, I wouldn't think you'd lack much privacy. The few times we've had a balcony on the Caribe, we hardly ever saw anyone else out on theirs.

If you only want to do one formal night, that's fine. You don't have to do any if you don't want to! There is always the Horizon Court or room service for alternate evening dining. Other evenings, you can dress more casually in the dining rooms. No jeans or shorts, but you can wear a casual dress or slacks & blouse.

The disco is great, but doesn't get going until after 11. There is lots to do (or nothing if that's what you want). The aft pool on the Aloha deck is a great place to hang out. Pools/hot tubs are open 24/7 and are freshwater.

We love the Grand Class ships. Only 6 weeks until the Golden...can't wait!
