Okay-- to original poster who asked about grilling on his Carnival balcony:

I am so sorry that I possibly offended you by stating the truth that you couldn't do it--number 1 that you couldn't get through security with your grilling supplies, etc. That it was a fire hazard and shouldn't be tried and that as others said, on a balcony you probably wouldn't have the room to set up shop to grille. By learning the above mentioned, you were saved the embarrassment of attempting to grille. So now you know. As posts of this sort pop up form time to time , not only on this but other sites as well, it's usually someone joking about taking a habachi grille, etc. Sometimes there are posts about fishing form a balcony. Usually that can't be done either, as someone other than a fish might end up with a hook in their eye or mouth.

So there , Cruizer is the apology--not for you but to the original poster. Now that I have apologized, how about my apology from you that you doubted I had the fortitude to do so ?? I'm waiting. Apparently you made a misjudgement also and so I too deserve an apology from you, if you have the fortitude.---Waiting.

As to the advice you so expertly tried to point out about grilling, BBQ'S etc, you would have some first time cruiser believing that basically all they had to do was ask and it would be done. I think the other posters on this subject gave the original poster much more insight than did you with all your hype about grilling, huge balconies, etc,.

It's wonderful that you can show us the huge and elaborate accommodations you stayed in aboard NCL.

Hopefully they were wonderful. The forward facing cabin with the wind and spray constantly hitting the front of the ship must have been a let down though. But, that's why they have the huge heavy weather proof doors on the front-- to keep the water and spray out.

Now, as I said before, I made my apology to the original poster--I'm waiting for mine from you--if you have the decency to do so. And, by the way, if the thorn in your ass is too big to get out with tweezers, try a pair of pliers.

Get out the grille, lay on the weenies and have a good week-end.   :wave  :wave
