Very interesting question. We've cruised 17 times, and five of them on Carnival, and I've never heard of any such thing as a card that allows early boarding. I look forward to seeing your responses.
This may or may not be what you are referring to:
When you have 10 or more Carnival cruises, you become what's called " Platinum " status.
Your sail and sign card is platinum and you get VIP check in and early boarding.
If you book a suite, that's also the case.
That's the only thing I have ever seen regarding a card that let's you board and debark early ahead of the other guests. :wave
You can debark (not embark) early if you have an excursion booked through carnival in the debarkation city. Depending on the port city and time of year this can save you lots of time and hassle, and you get to see some great sites you might not have otherwise.
