Hello and =welcome to Cruise @ddicts.Don't worry too much about being near the lifts. If people want to be inconsiderate, they will do so by the lifts or in the middle of the hall. I have only been disturbed by people being loud in the hallways at night a couple of times in 18 cruises and both of those times we were not by the lifts so it really shouldn't matter. The main thing is that you probably got a pretty good price booking the GTY but the trade off is not being able to choose your exact cabin. In our 18 cruises we have been in the front, the back, the middle, by the lifts and away from the lifts. To be honest, it just doesn't matter, at least not to us.Another good cure for motion sickness is ginger. You can get some ginger tablets at about any health food store. We book lots of trips through the shoretrips website. Here's a link to that.http://www.shoretrips.com/default.aspDunns River Falls will be very crowded. I would suggest rafting on the Martha Brae river. Very relaxing and scenic. Here's a link to that.http://www.jamaicarafting.com/Tour.htm=funsign on your cruise :thumb
