We were just asking the travel agent at Carnival how upgrades are determined. We were upgraded the last time on the Conquest from a regular balcony to a 9A and have grown to depend on the upgrades. They tell me there are some people who have cruised repeatedly without an upgrade and we shouldn't expect it.Do you know that an upgrade to a 9A from an 8A is an additional $400 per person? Just found that out when we requested the same room we had last time....Lucky You!
