I have been on six Royal Caribbean and six Carnival cruises. Most of the Carnival Cruises I have been on are the shorter ones (only one seven nighter) and most of the Royal Caribbean cruises I have been on have been seven nighters (only one three nighter and one two nighter).While Carnival is just fine, my line of choice is Royal Caribbean. Their ships are a lot less "Vegas" and a little more subdued in decor and the service on Royal Caribbean is consistantly fabulous. If you have enjoyed Carnival you'll love Royal Caribbean too.
