Hi. I'm Jessica. I'm traveling with my husband in the Carnival Destiny in July. We're staying in Puerto Rico for a few nights before our ship and were wondering what the best (quickest/easiest) time is to board the ship?

Thanks for the assistance!

Ahoy Jessica and =welcome to Cruise @ddicts. They usually have the ship ready for boarding by noon.

Since your hotel check out time will be around 11 that would be a perfect time to head for the ship. They'll be serving lunch in the buffet and you can enjoy your day on board getting to know the ship. Just makes the cruise that much longer. =sailor

Where in NC are you located. There are a few more Cruise @ddicts there too. My girlfriend CarolineBlonde lives in High Point.

My husband and I are from NY (him near Buffalo, myself 1.5 hrs. north of NYC) -- both in the country, but now live near Charlotte, NC.

On our first cruise together (Adventure of the Seas) we waited in a line f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get on the ship. It was exhausting. We were hoping to avoid that this time. :)

Peace,
Jess

Looks like you were on Adventure in 2003. They have streamlined the boarding procedure for the big ships in the past few years. Also depends a lot on when you check in. That's why we always check in as early as possible. Avoid the crowds of people who will be arriving by air later in the day.

=funsign on your cruise.

Re: Carnival Glory Embarkation Time

Any idea when the earliest they allow embarkation at Port Canaveral. Going in Oct and don't want to waste one minute.
