My wife and I sailed on the Destiny this past May. We felt that she is a beautiful ship and in very good condition. We had met one couple that had sailed on her the year before and complained that a lot of lights were burnt out. I didn't notice and to be honest with you, there are so many lights, unless you are really looking you won't notice. Our stateroom was clean and kept that way. Two things we didn't care for were the pools, small and the fact that all unsold cabins are sold to the locals and there were just to many children running around. We had fun and I would sail her again. The food in the dining room was great, the buffet ok. Great ports, lots of activities on the ship. Oh yeah, one more pain is embarking and debarking. Hope this info helps alittle!

thank you - it does help ... and to say upfront, it is nothing you said at all, but after talking it over with husband / daughter / soninlaw, we have decided to go with CELEBRITY CONSTALLATION to south carib / march 15th. we have never sailed celebrity before and have been told by many that it's a wonderful ship - plus we must have something for trying out the newest ships... our first cruise was the princess grand (her first year); 2nd cruise was carnival pride (in water a matter of months)... and now this. but it is just the way it has turned out actually.

anyway - if you or anyone has any info on the celebrity constallation, please let me know.

thank you,
pam

I always hear good things about Celebrity. Enjoy your cruise. We will be sailing on the Grand Princess in 11 days. This will be our second cruise on the Grand, western last year and eastern this year.
