Returned yesterday from Puerto Rico; this was my first cruise.

We went with family and discovered we were upgraded to balcony rooms 8th floor. I feel spoiled now and cannot imagine cruising without the privacy of a balcony (hubby and I enjoyed it very much wink.wink)

This was the most amazing adventure! I have never flown, never cruised, never been to the caribbean.

I did not think I would like the tropics - I am a skier and winter-lover. I was thrilled, the weahter was amazing and nothing like the miserable humidity we are used to here!

I cannot express how wonderful this was!! This June hubby and I are getting ourdaughter and ourselves passports so we can do this again every year - try out different ships and ports. I am so excited and had to share.

The only nightmare was the return flight our dd (only 2) had enough travel and cried and fussed a lot -- American Airlines probably sold more headphones on that flight than any other (apologies to anyone with us) LESSON LEARNED: ALWAYS SPLURGE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL SEAT FOR YOUR CHILDREN ON AIRLINE...IT WILL SAVE YOU AND YOUR FELLOW FLYERS...

If you EVER cruise the DESTINY request Universal Dining Room - Table 509

Our waiters were OUT OF THIS WORLD....they were a uncle/nephew team from Indonesia - Hyoman and Kyomang ...UNBELIEVABLE with children and People...
The woman whom also served our table for drinks was amazing as well - very cheerful

We are writing a letter to Carnival to compliment their attention to detail and guests.
OKay! I was very excited to share!! I was very skeptical about cruising...but now I am addicted!!

For birthdays this year we are buying travel kits and accessories for his luggage and my mountain backpack to make packing and travel EVEN better!!

Thanks for letting me share!
