I personally would choose the Dream. Mostly because it is a new ship. Also because with the 8 day cruise it looks like you only gain a sea day and not an extra port day.. so that is a negative for me.

To be honest though, i don't see where either choice would be a bad one. The draw of the Dream is obviously it is a new ship, but it also offers a few new and pretty cool amenities. You already mentioned the water park. But i mean, the kids would have a blast with so many things to do.

Although the Freedom is a experienced vessel with an experienced crew. The details will probably be better looked after on the Freedom just because the crew is more experienced with the ship. I think it takes a year to season a crew with a new ship. This does not mean that you'll get bad service on the Dream, as many of the crew on the dream was taken from the many other ships and were probably some of the best crew from the fleet. It's just that a new crew+new ship it takes a little while for them to work flawlessly together.

Like i said above i really do not think either choice is a bad choice... it all comes down to your personal choice as to which cruse you believe you will enjoy the most. :doubleup::thumbup:
