Carnival Fascination 5a main deck cabins

Heyas! Well I booked my trip on the Fascination Aug 22, 2009. Good thing too as the price went up 30 dollars a day later. I am booked into a cat 5a on the main deck, M11. Not many pics or info of these rooms to be found. Anyone have any pics or experiences they could share? Also is one side better than the other? I could change it to m11 if I wanted, any major difference?

I loved the fascination, but the main floor is a very, very busy floor. This is where all your activities take place. People are up all hours of the night and your floor is prone to all the noise trafficking. On the other hand, it’s perfect if you like being on the main deck for all of the shows and additional activities taken place on the boat.

But have fun and enjoy every moment of your trip. These is a wonderful experience and remember you make your cruise.

blake I have had cabins on Main deck twice on Fantasy Class ships. They aren't noisy at all. I think the last poster might be confusing this with some other floor or perhaps a different class ship. The only thing on this deck is staterooms, and it is between two floors of also only staterooms. It is very quiet! Unless you have noisy neighbors. I also just posted a pic of a 5A room in a different post which I believe was started by you.

It is true that the main deck is a busy place. But that is in the middle where all the public space is. Go all the way aft, or all the way forward (where M11) is and it is very quiet because very few people go there (only others with cabins in the stern or bow).
