Re: Carnival Glory -- any tips for onboard? Restaurants?

We sailed the Glory last June and had the best wait staff that I've had in 8 cruises! Our room steward was very good, but on the quiet side. At the end of the cruise, the waiters and steward asked us to please check "exceeded expectations" on our survey card if we thought they had earned it. Those surveys mean the world to these workers so make sure you fill it out.

We always get a late night cheeseburger and fries as they are the absolute best and I sooo look forward to them! Also, remember that there is a fish and chips place on deck 10 in the Lido. A lot of people don't even know it is up there, and it is also a quieter place to sit and eat when the tables are full below. They also put out chocolate melting cakes at the late night buffet; my ds would eat one in the dining room and then later get one at the buffet. This is the only time I let my kids eat "junk" so they definitely enjoy it!

Make sure you get involved; the trivia games and such are a lot of fun.
