Carnival Glory

Can anyone give me thier opinions on the Carnival Glory. I wanna hear anything anyone has to say about it. I booked an Eastern Caribbean cruise on her and want to hear some opinons. Good or bad. I would really appreciate it.

I have also heard this boat has a tendency to rock quite a bit. Any views on this. I know it mostly has something to do with the weather, but its just unusual that on most reviews I have read it states that the ship rocks a lot. I cant imagine that every cruise has rough weather. Just curious.

Hi,

If you go to the reviews section and pull up the Carnival Glory you will find many reviews there including one I wrote from my trip on the Glory in 2004. Reading reviews on this board is the best way to get different opinions on the ships.

P.S. We LOVED the Glory! Sailing on her again next month!

The Glory is still my favorite ship we sailed her back in May of 2004. Yes we did feel more movement for the first day and a half, but we did have some rough seas as well. It did seem to settle down after that. We will be sailing her again this coming May. IÕm hoping for the best. But I too have seen the bad reviews as well. She also just a week ago come out of dry dock. Maybe the stabilizers were look at as well at that time.

You should have a great time.

they have a great fish and chips bar upstairs from the lido decks red sail restaurant. it took us a couple of days to find it the last time we were on her. once we did find it we were there a lot.

and tell the kids to leave me some ice cream. thats my favorite place. when the rest of the party cant find me they know to look there. also on the lido deck aft. and if you have never sailed Carinval before. the ice cream is FREE 24/7.

other than that just have fun.

We choose Glory because it's newer and we like this size ship. Our last ship wasn't as big and I didn't like the layoit. Just a personal thing. The big ship feels like home whenwe step on board because we know how to navigate it and we like all the things that there are to do. Pat

We did the eastern carib on the Glory last March, and I loved the ship. No movement at all the first 2 days, which bothers me. I love a gentle rocking, makes me sleep so much better. Of course what made the cruise even better is that we got upgraded to a suite. WOW!

The only thing that bugged our son is that the slide was closed most of the time. Too windy they said. Well, it's always windy on the deck; nobody was going to fly off the slide. When it finally opened during the last 2 days, it was lots of fun, even for adults.

scdreamweaver, Pat here did you try roll call. I don't seem to run into many people on my cruises eithor. Lots of ships, lots of times I guess. I'm going to post on roll call and I just keep reposting till somone answers. When you post there and someone answers you go to the top again. If you get close to the borrom just post a different message there. Good luck. Pat
