I noticed in the brochure on carnival that it says that if your not fully satisfied with your cruise than they'll re-imburse you.

So does that mean I can go on a cruise , then on the last day go up to the captian and say," Well actually Captin , I didn't really like this cruise and ah I'd like my money back now"
Hey , maybe that's what I should always do... I'll say this to the captian every time now and get free cruises! ;)

haha - Unfortunately that's not how it works. You have to tell them that you are not satisfied in time for them to drop you off at the first port of call and send you home. So theoretically you can cruise for maybe 2-3 days for free. Why don't you try it and let us know how it works? :)

Its a good idea , but I'm just going to cruise the full 7 days and then say to the captain that I want a refund because its 100% guarenteed!

Brochure clearly states you must inform carnival prior to first port of call in order to recieve a full refund, .... was thinking the same thing on my last cruise on the fantasy

just imagine what would happen if they made it a real guarentee where you could actually take the entire cruise then write a letter in saying how much you were displeased... Then they offer you a free cruise... Hey wait a minute , this is a good idea! ;)

Re: Carnival Guarantee

This topic is quite saddening. It's almost if there's a group of people out there who scheme. Do we cheat them and how?.

Life ain't perfect. There ain't no such thing as a perfect cruise or vaction. Accept it. If something goes wrong with a cruise? @#$% it! I can't imagine what on earth can go so terribly wrong that people want there money back. Sure, if a shore excursion is cancelled and they flat out refuse a refund, then hell yea the money is rightfully yours. I still stand by my motto. A cruise is what you make it.

Just go out there and enjoy yourselves. Not Jeez my coffee has too much cream in it. I want carnival to drop me off at the next port and I want all of my money back.

There. I feel better now.

Ken ,
Ha ha , I was just kidding bud , I'd never try to get a free cruise like I was saying above. But yes , I agree with you , there are those that try to do that sort of thing. No , I'm one that WILL in fact write a letter to carnival if something was to be really fun , or really bad to let them know , but not to try getting a free cruise.
Have a beer on me Ken...

OR......you can go and play the bingo game and WIN a free cruise!!!!!

On my last cruise I was coming out of my cabin and a young lady was running down the hall all happy and excited and I asked her what all the excitement was about and she said she had just won a free cruise!

I LOVE cruising...it's the best way to take a vacation as far as I'm concerned.

LOL! Ok jester, just give the time.

You sound like a good natured person : ) It's upsetting to think someone out there might think these things though. I dunno, just seems like an awful lotta trouble to complain, get dropped off at the next port and take a plane back. YIKES!

Actually, on our Legend trip, there was a rather loud and obnoxious group of looser boozers, man they wouldnt shut up. We were trying to enjoy a show in the Follies lounge and they wouldn't stop heckling the asst, CD. Yea, she was a hottie, but whatya want from me LOL! anyhow. I left the lounge, located the head CD, it wasn't five minutes that passed, the CD, a few other guys, rather large I might add, walked them out of the lounge, and I don' t think we saw them for the whole entire cruise and there were still five days left. Who knows but I think they were quarantined in there cabins. HA HA!!

Ken ,
Did they really quarenteen those guys that were drunk ? That's crazy! I thought all their security guards were little phillipino guys. That's all I ever saw and never any Big guards.
I've noticed that in the past cruises , you're always going to have those types on the ships , and to me , it just adds spice to the cruises.
