We are on Carnival Miracle heading to Hawaii and we wanted to go to the see the volcanoes but since the park was closed were weren't sure what to do. We were really hoping this federal government shutdown would have been over by now. we are very excited because today we found a company that has guaranteed we will get toured in Hilo, even if the park is still closed. They gave us an alternate itinerary that includes a "volcanic pool swim" and a lavatree park. if we can't get inside the volcano national park, we are still going to have a pretty cool tour!
