We were on the Miracle last month and had a great time.
On Carnival I had only been on Fantasy class ships and the Celebration before and was impressed with a more "subdued" decor. You'll love the huge "grape chandeliers" in the dining room though, a little "over the top". The staterooms were a lot nicer too.
Loved the grilled ruben sandwiches at the deli and the fountain of chocolate buffet is not to be missed. Make sure to try the strawberry creme soup and the chilled mango soup, YUMMY! I wasn't that impressed with Nick & Nora's specialty restaurant. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either and when you pay extra it should be great. I'll stick with Chops on RCCL.
The cruise director was one of the best I can remember and the entertainment was above average. Our dining room servers were fine as was our cabin steward. We enjoyed spending some late evenings at Sam's Piano Bar.
I love sailing from Tampa but was disappointed when they closed down the upper forward decks before we sailed under the Sunshine Skyway. The cruise director did a nice announcement before we sailed under, about the bridge's history. I've sailed from Tampa twice and the Tampa cruise facility is one of the nicest I've seen.
We loved the ports. My 4th time to Cozumel, 3rd time to Grand Cayman, 2nd time to Costa Maya and first time to Belize and all were fantastic. It was nice not to have to tender in Cozumel. The taxi drivers who want to take you on a tour in Belize and the hair braiders are very annoying. How many times can you politely say "no thanks".
It was only a month ago but I'm ready to go again.
