Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here. I was wondering if anyone has cruised on the Paradise? I would appreciate any info on the ship, service, food, activities, cabins etc. Thanks so much : )

Yes I have sailed on the Paradise and she is, IMHO, Carnival's best. The fact that she is strictly a non smoking ship means that she attracts fewer of the party 'til you drop crowd. The atmosphere on board is also quite up scale for a Carnival ship. Standard cabins on all Fantasy Class ships are among the largest at sea (about 185 sq ft) and well appointed. I found the food and service to be good to excellent, and there is so much to do on board that you will get frustrated trying to do it all. I also found the on board entertainment to be excellent. I think you made a great choice as I am considering the Paradise for a May sailing next year once again. Have a great cruise!

My first cruise was on the Paradise, and it was sufficient in changing my entire outlook on taking a vacation. Even though I will be sailing on the Sensation next time, I wouldn't hesitate to sail on the Paradise again, it was just hard to convince some new cruisers in our group to take a 7 day cruise. One think you should be aware of is that they take their no smoking policy very seriously, so much so that I wasn't even allowed to bring a souvenir lighter on board. I am not a smoker, and to be honest I felt a little stupid when I was asked to leave it on the ledge in San Juan, but it didn't occur to me that something like that would be taboo. I have since been told that I could have had them hold it for me until the end of the cruise, but they didn't tell me that at the time. Other than that the Paradise was awesome.
