Since you mentioned cruise planner it is a guess that you you booked directly through Carnival so, yes, get on the phone to your personal CP and tell them that you want the price reduction, excuses from them withstanding. when the price goes down agents (whoever they work for) should go to bat for you and get the discount, $500 is not chicken feed and can buy a lot of frozen thingies, not to mention the satisfaction of getting what you deserve............One ploy depending on your (there is a word but I won't use it) is to threaten to cancel your booking and rebook at the lower price if they put up a fight, but this option depends on your personal feelings and how important $500 is to you and the response you get from your PCP, start off nice and go downhill from there.rotsaruck
