The final tally is in on the price reduction. Just a quick mention that we are past guests on Carnival and we booked and paid for both staterooms. Now, having said that, what we got was a price reduction on our room only. Since we booked under early saver, and the price that went down was for past guests, we only got the price reduction for our room. Our son and daughter-in-law had not sailed with Carnival before. Even though we as past guests paid for the room it did not make any difference. Carnival said a past guest must be in the room to receive the price reduction. I wasn't too thrilled with the results but there was nothing we could do. That was a loss to us of $540.00.
